Estonia and UNDP cooperation is making progress. In September 2018, UNDP and Estonia launched a cooperation project to share best practices of digital transformation through UNDPs more than 170 country offices. At the WSIS Thematic Workshop “Digital Transformation as Sustainable Development Pathway” a new digital transformation tool was introduced, elaborated in collaboration between the UNDP and Estonian e-Governance Academy. That tool would help the Governments and other stakeholders to understand better their countries’ digital capacities and gaps, as well as to lay out a roadmap not only for applying ICTs in specific SDG efforts but for transforming digital landscapes overall to advance sustainable development priorities.
