Estonia as member of Human Rights Council 2026-2028
The promotion and protection of human rights is Estonia’s national priority and an integral part of Estonia’s foreign policy. Estonia’s international efforts are aimed at strengthening security, development and human rights in the world. As a part of Estonia’s commitment to effective multilateralism and universal values, Estonia presented its candidature to the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) for the 2026–2028 term.
